Noble Grand Humbug, Ron Thornton ordered the Hewgag be blown and the Portals be thrown open for Julia C. Bulette's Annual Plaque Dedication and Intiation. This years event took place in Virginia City, Nevada. The Great Fire of 1875 was the Humbug choice for this years dedication. The Volunteer Fire Department showed up with one of their fire engines to add to the ocassion. Julia C. Bulette's Historian, XNGH-P Peter Van Alstyne and Joe Curtis gave an account of the great fire.
